I presume you’re refering to SCSA (Sun Certified
System Administrator), although the following info
is similar for other certifications (like Network
Administrator, Security Certification, etc).
Sun sells both on-line and classroom courses to
prepare for the certification tests; however, I
have found that it is sufficient to combine my
Solaris experience with some preparatory work
using one of the commercially available study
guides to pass the tests. (see reference #3 below).
Also, note that there are several practice tests
available (both for free and for pay) on the net,
and these may help you decide when you’re ready
for the real tests.
The tests are administered worldwide by “Prometric”
(including in Mumbai). To find the test locations,
see reference #2 (below).
